Bat Mitzvah Madness
Well, hopefully you have visited this site and looked for our blog entries before this…..and wondered where we were hiding out! Our daughter, Victoria, had her Bat Mitzvah this weekend. In the middle of the summer she asked us to cater the event for her, and we had a blast planning the menu and executing it. On the menu were 18 appetizers - fully a small bites party - and everyone LOVED it! This is truly the new trend in entertaining. Don’t like what’s being served? Wait until the next time you see a server and there will be something totally different. The list included perennial favorites such as chicken satay, BBQ Chicken Quesadillas, and crudite and cheese plate - but made a bit more special by adding twice baked potatoes stuffed with goat cheese and chives, Dijon and Herb encrusted baby lamb chops, and Thai Beef salad in cucumber cups, to name a few.
